Thanks to Rosie's fundraising skills, we had enough money to take our NNO Kick-off exhibitors out to lunch at the County Line on the Lake last week - 8/17/2016. The lunch doubled as a meeting in preparation for October 1st - the kick-off - and as appreciation for our exhibitors.

The APD Office of Community Liaison's ICARE Faith Community Conference, inspired and led by APD Community Liaison Sharon Cannon, went off without a hitch. This past weekend was our 2nd annual car show and fundraiser! Take a look. Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that gives people the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it does build mental health literacy, helping the public identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness. |
