AUSTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT COMMUNITY LISTENING SESSIONS
The Austin Police Department (APD) is in the process of developing a strategic plan. This plan will serve as APD’s roadmap for the future, providing direction and driving priorities for the next five years. The project will inform APD’s decision-making and allow APD to measure success and refine action over time. APD wants to hear directly from community members to help guide this effort. Over the next several weeks, community members will have an opportunity to be involved in sharing feedback and shaping the future of APD. APD is holding three community events across the city with facilitated discussions to dig deeper and plan together for the future. APD wants to learn more about your thoughts on the work of APD, safety in your community, and aspirations for an effective partnership. These events are open to all community members.
