These programs are designed to enhance & support the Austin Police Department’s mission by assisting with building bridges between the community and Austin Police in addition to providing educational and usable information to the citizens of Austin. The Programs the Office of Community Liaison has successfully showcased and supported both short & long-term programs and events for the benefit of all persons in the community:
In order for the programs to be successful, The Austin Police Community Liaison Corporation 501(c)(3) is also the fiduciary agent between the Austin Police Department's Office of Community Liaison and its partners through which donations having a monetary value can be made. Financial and in-kind donations are routinely given by individuals and businesses wishing to contribute to any one of, or all of, the abovementioned mentioned programs. Every activity, conference or program is designed to have a positive effect on the well-being of the Austin community.
- Promote positive relations between the Police Department and the diverse Austin communities
- Establish and maintain lines of communication between various ethnic groups, emphasizing the effectiveness of working together in reaching common goals and objectives
- Promote the civic, social and educational development of its members
- Facilitate discussion groups, forums, panels, lectures, or other similar programs for the benefits of its members
- To Combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency, and promote the value of all citizens in our society

- Immigrant Outreach Programs – Informational Safety Fairs
- LGBTQ Outreach (Lesbian, Gay Bi-sexual, Transgender and Questioning) – Informational Safety Fairs
- National Night Out (NNO) – NNO Kick Off Party and supplies for over 450 NNO party bags
- The S.A.L.T Program (Seniors And Law enforcement Together) – Senior Safety Fair
- Youth Programs – Summer Camp / LinKS (Leaders in Knowledge & Support) – Recruiting & Field Trips for Education
